How it works
Check any Lithuanian property listing before you buy
Updated 9 October 2026
Paste an aruodas.lt, domoplius.lt, skelbiu.lt, kampas.lt or alio.lt link into kur Gandrai? and it checks the advert against the official property register (NTR) and other public data: price history across the five portals, a Deal Score, crime statistics, and flood, noise and protection zones. It verifies data. It does not assess a property's physical condition.
Five portals, one link
| Portal | What it is |
|---|---|
| aruodas.lt | Property portal: sales and rentals of flats, houses and land. |
| domoplius.lt | Property portal: sales and rentals. |
| skelbiu.lt | General classifieds site with a property section. |
| kampas.lt | Property portal: sales and rentals. |
| alio.lt | General classifieds site with a property section. |
The same property is often advertised on several portals. kur Gandrai? matches them and shows one price history.
What the report checks
| Check | Data source | What you learn |
|---|---|---|
| Register vs advert | NTR, the Real Property Register run by the Centre of Registers (Registrų centras) | Whether the area, build year and building purpose in the advert match the register. |
| Price history | Listings on all five portals, de-duplicated | Earlier asking prices, reductions and how long the property has been on the market. |
| Deal Score | The asking price against similar listings | Whether the price looks high, fair or low for the area, size and building. |
| Crime | Police statistics from the Ministry of the Interior's IRD | Registered offences: within 500 m in six cities, in the 1 × 1 km police-grid square the property sits in elsewhere. |
| Flood, noise, protection zones | Environmental Protection Agency (INSPIRE) and national noise-map data | Whether the address lies in a flood zone, a mapped noise zone or a protected area. |
Three registry mismatches the report flags
When the building is found in NTR with enough reliable data, the report compares it with the advert and flags three things:
- Area: the register shows a different floor area than the advert.
- Build year: the register shows a different year of construction.
- Purpose: the register lists the building as non-residential.
If the building is not in NTR, or the data is too thin to compare, the report says so instead of guessing.
Like carVertical, but for a listing URL
| carVertical | kur Gandrai? | |
|---|---|---|
| You paste | A VIN | A listing URL |
| You check | A used car | A flat or house for sale |
| The question | Is this car what the seller says? | Is this listing what the advert says? |
Coverage
Sale listings in every Lithuanian municipality can get a report. The Deal Score covers apartments in most municipalities and houses in the Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda regions and the cities of Šiauliai and Panevėžys. For any other home the report says plainly that it does not price it.
Crime data comes in two precisions. In six cities the report counts offences within 500 m of the address. Everywhere else it shows the count for the 1 × 1 km police-grid square the property sits in, labelled as such. The 500 m figure is not available nationwide.
Who owns the property
The report does not name the owner. Ownership, mortgages and arrests come from an extract from the Centre of Registers, which you or your notary can order. The report tells you what to compare it with.
Frequently asked questions
Which Lithuanian property portals does kur Gandrai? support?
aruodas.lt, domoplius.lt, skelbiu.lt, kampas.lt and alio.lt. Paste the link to a sale listing from any of them.
Does the report show who owns the property?
No. Owner, mortgage and arrest data sit in the Centre of Registers extract, which the report points you to. The report compares the advert with the register's building record.
Is crime data available for every address in Lithuania?
The precision differs by place. Six cities have a 500 m count. Elsewhere the report shows the 1 × 1 km police-grid square and labels it.
Can I use the report if I do not live in Lithuania?
Yes. The report is available in English and needs only the listing link. For the legal side of buying from abroad, see our guide for foreign buyers.
